Bernadette opened and has owned Stage Door since 2005.

Originally from Sydney Bernadette honed her cabaret and comedy skills at Kinselas Sydney, Sydney Theatre Company, Ducks Crossing Neutral Bay, Glenn Street
Theatre, Parramatta Riverside Theatre, The Argyle Tavern, Bankstown Theatre Restaurant, The Sydney Cabaret Convention and five years travelling Australia entertaining corporate audiences through Celebrity Speakers Sydney in the comedy cabaret duo The Bombshells.

Stage Door has been Bernadette’s life over the past two decades and she can see it continuing for many years to come. The talent in Townsville and Magnetic Island is astounding to those who visit this unassuming regional area and guests always leave with their expectations exceeded.

Lover of a great lyric, a sequinned frock and a good one liner, Bernadette is keeping the old and still very current art of comedy cabaret alive and well at Stage Door.
